MINUTES OF OCTOBER 2006 MEETING

October 08 Meeting was called to order at 6:10pm Present: Jimmy, Jeff, Shane, Pete, Diane , Rob, JB & Kim Absent: Wanda Jeff made a motion to receive the secretary’s report, Shane seconded, motion passed. Pete made a motion to receive the treasurer’s report, JB seconded, motion passed. After much discussion about the Chamber Banquet we decided to think more about entertainment and decided to table it. Jimmy will find prices for a hypnotist. Next month’s meeting will be Thursday, November 6th at the Civic Center. We will have Hot Dogs & Hamburgers at 6:00pm. We will be talking about canceling the 4th of July Bean feed and would like any member to come and put their input in. Rob will get the food for the cookout. We will decorate the park on Saturday, December 6th and then that afternoon at 4:00pm Santa will come. If parents want pictures with Santa, they need to bring their own camara. Jeff is going to see if Santa can come in on a firetruck. Shane is going to talk to Farmer’s about the light contest. Jeff made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Kim seconded, motion carried.
