Chamber of Commerce Meeting

Meeting was called to order at 6:15 pm.

Present: Jimmy, Jeff, Cindee, Gary, Rob, Bobby & Pete

Absent: Shane

Jeff made a motion to accept the secretary's report, Bobby seconded. Motion passed.

Jeff made a motion to accept the treasurer's report, Pete seconded. Motion passed

We discussed Sun Country Bass Tournament. Jeff made a motion to give $10.00 per boat, seconded by Pete. Motion passed. Chamber will give $10.00 per boat.

Continued planning for the Chamber Banquet on the 24th. Pete will get tickets printed and distribute to directors. Gary made a motion for Chamber to purchase our own gas grill and bottles. Pete seconded. Motion passed. We will meet at Civic Center on Friday the 23 rd to decorate, etc. Pete will contact ENMR to post the event in the monthly Net Link flyer.

Discussion on White Bass Tournament hosted by the Eagles on May 8. Pete made a motion to donate $250.00, seconded by Bobby.

The school will be asked to distribute scholarship applications to the seniors this month to apply for 2010 Chamber of Commerce scholarship.

Gary suggested we have polo shirts made for the directors. Cindee will contact Kathy Leal about shirts.

Motion to adjourn was made by Rob, seconded by Bobby. Motion carried.
