Unofficial Minutes for January 8, 2008

Meeting was called to order at 6:06 PM. By President Liles

Roll Call was taken. Present were: Diane, Pete, Rob, Shane, Wanda, Jeff, Jimmy, & Kim Absent were: JB

Guests : Angie Bailey & Maria Blum

Shane made a motion to recieve Treasurers report, Rob seconded, motion carried. Jeff made a motion to recieve secretary's report, Wanda seconded, motion carried.

We decided to take the Christmas light down on Wednesday. If anyone can help meet at the park at 3:00.

Jeff made a motion for Diane to be secretary, Jimmy seconded, motion carried.Jimmy made a motion for Wanda to be secretary, Jeff seconded, motion carried. Wanda made a motion for Jeff to be Vice President, Diane seconded, motion carried. Jeff made a motion for Jimmy to be President, Shane seconded, motion carried.

Shane made a motion for us to lock in an order of 2 pallets of water, Pete seconded, motion carried. Kim will make poster to give to kids and put up around town for a Logo contest. We will vote at next meeting who won the contest.

We recieved a bill in the mail for $75.00 for 3 signs. Jimmy is to find out where these signs are before we pay the bill.

We discussed new ideas- The people in charge will bring ideas to the next meeting. Mud Bog- Jimmy, Jeff & Pete are in charge. They will talk to Larry about land. Iron Man- JB & Jeff are in charge. Poker Runs Casino Night- Rob & Wanda are in charge. Kids Derby- Kim & Rob are in charge. tickets for 4th of July- Shane & Diane are in charge.

Rob made a motion to budget $100 for Christmas light, Jimmy seconded, motion carried. If anyone to going to Walmart call Diane to get lights. Meeting at Civic Center next month.

Jeff made a motion we cook hamburgers and hot dogs, Kim seconded, motion carried. We will introduce the new directors, have a membership drive and hear new ideas and suggestions. Kim will make a poster to put up around town, Jeff will bring his grill and cook, Rob will get the fixings & Diane will reserve the Civic Center. Shane made a motion we have budget $30 for doorprizes, Pete seconded, motion carried. Angie Bailey said she would pick up some doorprizes.

Jeff made the motion to adjourn the meeting, Kim seconded, motion carried.
