Chamber of Commerce Meeting Feb. 09, 2010 Meeting was called to order at 6:08 pm. Present: Jimmy, Jeff, Carrie, Cindee, Gary, Rob, Shane & Pete Absent: Bobby Jeff made a motion to accept the secretary's report, Pete seconded. Motion passed. Jeff made a motion to accept the treasurer's report, Pete seconded. Motion passed After talking to the New Mexico Gaming Board, and Warren Frost, The Texas Hold 'em Tournament has been cancelled. Gary has been reimbursed for the poker chips ordered and TV. It was decided to raffle the TV at the Chamber Banquet. Pete May has been reimbursed for tickets. Date for the Chamber Banquet will be April 24. Dinner will be served from 6-7:30. Dance will be from 8-12. Menu will be same as last year, rib eye steak, baked potato. Raffle tickets will be sold for $10.00 for TV, and cost of dinner will also be $10.00. Pete will order 200 tickets for each. Motion to accept was made by Shane, Gary seconded, everyone agreed. Shane will check with Benito and Glen & Kim Lubera for music. Gary will be in charge of door prizes, Carrie for decorations. Jeff and Jimmy will go to Amarillo for meat, food and supplies. Carrie and Shane will check for supplies on hand in storage. Cindee will check 2010 memberships, and we will follow up on those who have not sent in renewals. Cindee will also reprint membership applications for new members, and get certificates for members and new businesses. Gary will be in charge of ribbon cutting for new businesses and new members welcome. Motion to adjourn was made by Rob, seconded by Jeff, motion carried.
