Chamber of Commerce Meeting

April 13, 2010

Meeting was called to order at 6:10 pm.

Present: Jimmy, Jeff, Carrie, Cindee, Bobby, Rob, and Shane

Absent: Pete and Gary

Guest: Mr. Rose, Logan HS Counselor

Jeff made a motion to accept the secretary's report, Shane seconded. Motion passed.

Jeff made a motion to accept the treasurer's report, Shane seconded. Motion passed

Mr. Rose was present to discuss the scholarship applications we received from the HS seniors.

Directors held discussion on awarding two $250.00 scholarships, and a plaque to be awarded to the Student Citizen of the Year

Motion was made by Jeff and seconded by Rob. Motion passed.

Scholarship recipients will be chosen at May meeting. Scholarship applications need to be updated and will be changed before going out next year.

Plans were finalized for the Chamber Banquet.

Bobby and Rob volunteered to organize the Kids Fishing Derby.

The date for the Duck Hunt has been set for June 19. Cindee will order ducks and get flyers made.
